About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Sartarelli’s oldest vineyards, planted on steep terraces at 300–350 metres above sea level. Grass grows between the vine rows to preserve soil nutrients, and yields are limited to 8–9 tonnes per hectare.
Grapes
The fruit is carefully selected from Verdicchio clones grown in the estate’s own vineyards.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small boxes and gently pressed at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks under strictly controlled temperatures.
Ageing
The wine continues to develop in the bottle.
Tasting profile
Lively and bright, with a light, appealing aroma. Its style is lighter than that of Sartarelli’s Balciana.
