Label / history
The Fratelli Levis range takes its name from Antonio and Raimondo Levis, brothers who founded their company in 1938. Their interest in Nebbiolo brought them to the Langhe area. Both brothers had a congenital hearing impairment, and those around them associated their persistent approach to winemaking with a desire to express their creativity.
Following Raimondo’s death in 2002, Antonio entered into partnership with the family-owned Sartirano company. Sartirano now owns the Fratelli Levis brand. The small Corte Lombardina winery forms part of Sartirano Figli Cantine e Vigneti.
