About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from selected grapes grown in the estate’s vineyards in the commune of Barbaresco and is harvested at optimal ripeness.
Vinification
Traditional red-wine vinification is followed by skin maceration at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures for nine months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a further 17 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Firm in character, with concentrated berry flavour and a vibrant aroma.
Serving and pairing
Pair with red meat, game, vegetable stew or mature cheeses.
