About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Isola dei Nuraghi, where the climate is hot and dry. The vineyard soils are clay and sand, with limestone and ancient marine deposits.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late September to early October. They are destemmed, gently pressed and cold-macerated for three days to extract colour and tannin from the skins. Fermentation lasts 15 days at no more than 28 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests in oak barrels for up to 18 months.
