About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow in the heart of Terre Bianche, on limestone-rich soils formed from prehistoric marine deposits. These soils give the grapes distinctive structure and delicate aromatic qualities. The ancient, fibre-rich Torbato variety is now cultivated exclusively by Sella & Mosca.
Vinification
Immediately after harvest, the grapes are crushed and gently pressed, then undergo a short cold maceration. The clarified must ferments for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 15 °C.
Label / history
The wine received a Gold Star at the 2010 Touring Club Italiano competition, held annually by Guida Vini Buoni d'Italia.
