MontePiazzo comes from the eponymous vineyard and represents Valpolicella Classico Superiore in the Serego Alighieri style.

Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, including the Serego Alighieri clone of Molinara.
Vinification and ageing
MontePiazzo uses the estate's Valpolicella tradition and the ancient Appassimento technique. Its style is shaped by the exclusive use of the Serego Alighieri Molinara clone and ageing in cherry-wood casks.

Alcohol: 13.5% vol. Serving temperature: 18?C. Storage life: 8-10 years. Bottle size: 750 ml. Contains sulphites.
Tasting profile
Dark, bright red with purple reflections. Intense aromas of marasca cherry, vanilla and cinnamon. Warm and fruit-laden on the palate, with good acidity and tannins and a long fruity finish.
Serving and pairing
Suitable throughout the meal, especially with grilled red meat, roasts and mature cheeses.
