About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in several hillside vineyards in Valpolicella, around Mezzane and Tregnago. Different varieties are sourced from different sites.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand from late September to early October and dried for about four months under controlled humidity. After gentle pressing, alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place at 15 °C for 40–60 days.

Ageing

The wine matures for three years in oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Well balanced, with good structure.
