About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Fabriseria vineyard occupies a hillside site in Valpolicella Classica, between Fumane and Ambrosia.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from late September to early October and dried for four months under strictly controlled humidity. Fermentation is followed by 40–60 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for three to four years in oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle.
Tasting profile
The 2007 is powerful, rich and intense, with substantial structure, aromatic elegance and complexity, remarkable depth and an exceptionally long finish. Its structure and aromatic elegance develop further with age.
Label / history
La Fabriseria was first produced in 1983 and is made only in exceptional vintages.
