About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Friuli-Venezia Giulia at 200 m above sea level, on marl and sandy soils. Organic methods are used to preserve the variety’s character.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in the first weeks of September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 30 °C. Puiatti uses only steel, cement or ceramic vessels for fermentation and ageing.
Ageing
The wine rests first in stainless-steel tanks and then in bottle. Puiatti does not age its wines in oak.

Label / history
Vittorio and Giovanni Puiatti, father and son, developed the winery with environmental considerations in mind. Its motto is “Save a tree, drink Puiatti.” Puiatti is now part of Tenimenti Angelini.
