About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The approximately 10-year-old vines are cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles on clay and slate soils in Tuscany. The vineyard lies at 500 metres above sea level, where wide temperature variations promote slow, balanced ripening.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, selected and fermented spontaneously with their skins in steel vats. The wine is not fined.
Ageing
The wine matures for about one year in cement, steel and clay vessels.
