About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from Poggetti at Massa Marittima. The vineyard has a south-western exposure and rich, slightly acidic clay soil. Yield is 13,000 kg/ha. The Poggetti Estate occupies hills in the northern Tuscan Maremma, approximately 7 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Hot weather and extended sunlight are complemented by cool evenings, while the proximity of the coast contributes salinity and minerality.

Grapes

85% Trebbiano and 15% Vermentino.

Vinification

Harvest takes place during the first and second weeks of September. Fermentation proceeds in cement tanks at 18°C for approximately 10 days.

Tasting profile

Soft flax-yellow in colour. The bouquet combines yellow flowers, citrus and almond. The dry palate is full, balanced and clean, with freshness, mineral hints and yellow-fruit character.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 11°C with light appetizers and cheeses.
