About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown in municipalities across the Langhe area, on clayey, calcareous and sandy soils. The vines are trained on vertical trellises and Guyot pruned. Maximum yield is 10 tonnes per hectare.
Grapes
100% Chardonnay.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand during the first half of September. After crushing and destemming, they are pressed and fermented in stainless steel at a low temperature of 16–18°C. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out.
Ageing
The wine remains on its lees for at least two months, with weekly bâtonnage.
