About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The technical profile identifies Novello and Alba as the growing area. The vineyards have sandy and clayey marl soils, with vertical-trellis training and Guyot pruning. Maximum yield is 100 quintals, equivalent to 10 tonnes, per hectare. The grapes are picked entirely by hand during the second to third ten-day periods of September.

Grapes

100% Nascetta.

Vinification

The selected technical profile describes pressing the crushed, destemmed grapes, followed by low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel at 16–18°C.

Ageing

The wine matures for at least five months in stainless steel on its lees, with weekly bâtonnage.
