About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Località Casetta.
Grapes
50% Vernaccia, 20% Trebbiano and 30% aromatic grape varieties.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in mid-September for Vernaccia and in early October for Trebbiano. The grapes undergo overnight pellicular maceration in the press and are gently pressed the following day.
Ageing
The wine matures for 8–9 months, divided between stainless steel and tonneaux. It then spends another 6 months in stainless-steel tanks and 4 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The nose has good intensity and persistence. The palate is balanced and complex, bringing together fruit and the lightly toasted character imparted by wood. Pronounced acidity and savouriness support a highly drinkable profile.
