About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the communes of Tollo, Ortona and Sannita at 130 metres above sea level. The plots face east and southeast, and the vines are 10–15 years old. The soils are predominantly medium-textured clay. The vineyards are farmed exclusively using organic methods and are certified organic.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early October and gently pressed at the winery. The must is clarified before fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for four months.
Tasting profile
Soft, with a notably fresh aroma and flavour.
