About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the communes of Tollo, Ortona and Canosa Sannita at an altitude of 130 metres. The vineyards have west and southwest exposures, and the vines are 10–15 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early October, then destemmed and crushed. The must undergoes cold maceration and gentle pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless steel tanks for three months.
