About this wine

Vinification

The Glera grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before pressing. Fermentation takes place at a strictly controlled temperature, and the sparkling wine is produced using the Charmat method.

Label / history

Val d'Oca was founded in 1952 at the initiative of several local vineyard owners. The cooperative, based north of Venice between Asolo and Conegliano at the foot of the Alps, now comprises 583 producers and more than 700 ha of vineyards. It produces 9,600,000 bottles of Prosecco annually.

The wine received silver medals at the Decanter Awards in 2010, Mundus Vini in 2009 and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2007, as well as a Gambero Rosso Oscar at Bollicine D’Italia in 2008.
