About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown on limestone soils in the province of Taranto, Puglia, at 100–150 metres above sea level. The vineyards benefit from proximity to the Ionian and Adriatic seas. Summers are generally hot and dry but moderated by sea breezes, while winters are mild. Abundant sunshine promotes healthy, juicy and highly aromatic fruit.
Vinification
The grapes undergo one day of maceration before gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 14 °C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented to retain fresh acidity.
Tasting profile
Fresh and easy-drinking.
Label / history
