About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on clay-limestone soils in the province of Taranto, Apulia.

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration take place at a controlled temperature of 24–28 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures in French oak barrels for 3–6 months.

Tasting profile

A fresh, youthful and easy-drinking wine, with a soft, fruity character and distinctive wild-berry notes on the nose and palate.

Label / history

The relatively young “12 e Mezzo” range was created following research and tastings as an expressive alternative to classic Italian styles. Its name means “twelve and a half” in Italian and refers directly to the wines’ alcohol content.
