About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Produced in Greve in Chianti from hand-harvested grapes grown on predominantly limestone soils.

Grapes

Predominantly Sangiovese. The first vintage was 2009.

Vinification

The whole grapes undergo several hours of low-temperature maceration under inert gas before pressing. Fermentation then proceeds at 15–16 °C for approximately 25 days.

Ageing

The wine remains on its lees for approximately 2 months.

Technical data

Alcohol: 12.00% vol. Annual production: 7,000 bottles. Format: 750 ml.

Tasting profile

Bright, light pink in colour. The broad bouquet offers fresh floral aromas, red berries and notes derived from lees contact. The palate is gentle, savoury and fresh.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 10–12 °C with appetizers, cereal or fish soups, roasted fish and fresh cheeses.
