About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The selected fruit comes from the La Crena vineyard, where the first vines were planted in 1932 in silty clay soil.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in open stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26–32 °C for 8–10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak for 16 months.
