About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a 2 ha single vineyard in Lazzarito, in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba. The site occupies the southwestern part of a valley and has limestone and clay soils. The vines average 43 years of age.
Vinification
For the 2020 vintage, the grapes were harvested by hand in early October and gently pressed. Fermentation lasted about four weeks in stainless-steel tanks with skin contact. Malolactic fermentation took place in wooden vats.
Ageing
The wine matured for 30 months in barriques and oak casks.

Generous and elegant.
Label / history
Gianni Gallo created the wildflower label. Its composition is based on emotions and subtle associations. Some followers of Vietti interpret the flowers as a reference to the femininity found in Barolo wines.
