About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Collio near the Slovenian border. Their elevation produces a wider temperature range between day and night. The Sauvignon vines are more than 60 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented.
Ageing
The wine rests for six months, with 90% aged in stainless-steel tanks and 10% in oak tonneaux with frequent bâtonnage.

Label / history
The wine has been produced since 1964. Its label features the letter “V,” designed to resemble the traditional bobbin lace of Gorizia and to connect the area's histories of winemaking and lacemaking.
