About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards on the Isonzo River floodplain. The well-drained alluvial soils consist of layers of sandstone (calcified sand) and gravel, contributing freshness and minerality to the grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented before maturation in steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees in steel tanks for four months, with regular bâtonnage.
Tasting profile
Exceptionally aromatic, with good structure and a notably broad range of nuances.

The wine has been produced since 1975.
