About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards cover more than 60 hectares between Nizza Monferrato and Agliano Terme, in the province of Asti. Yields are carefully controlled, and fruit is selected from the differing soils and microclimates of the two areas to balance aroma and flavour.

Vinification

Selected grapes ferment for 15 days at 28–30 °C. A rapid malolactic fermentation follows in oak barrels, one-third of them new.

Ageing

The wine remains in oak barrels for 12 months, gaining complexity, refinement and elegance.

Tasting profile

The palate is soft, velvety and complex, with a fine balance between structure, aroma and flavour.
