1900s\nAntiche Terre Venete began when founder Vittorio Sancassasi turned his deep love of the land into a life devoted to growing grapes and olive trees. He wanted to create something special in Valpantena, an area he considered less well known but just as rich and generous as neighboring Valpolicella.\n\n### The next generation\nVittorio passed his passion on to his son Sergio and his nephew Luciano. After returning from China, Luciano began working alongside Sergio, bringing together Italian winemaking traditions and advanced technology from around the world.\n\n### Today\nThe winery produces 1.6 million bottles of wine a year, from vineyards lying in a broad valley in the Sezano area, near Verona.

Vinificazione
Winemaking at Antiche Terre Venete brings together Italian winemaking traditions and advanced technology from around the world, a combination developed by Sergio and Luciano Sancassasi after Luciano's return from China. The winery produces about 1.6 million bottles of wine a year.
