Batzella

Batzella was founded in 2000 by Franco Batzella, a former financier, and his wife, Khan Nguyen. Both had worked at the World Bank. When they reached retirement age, they decided to make a major change in their lives and bought several plots for growing grapes in the heart of Tuscany. This is how their boutique winery began. Its wines have since gained international recognition and received positive reviews from many well-known wine critics.
