Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards across 19 municipalities in Franciacorta.
Vinification
Whole bunches are pressed gently and slowly. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. In the spring after harvest, the base wines are blended with 20% reserve wines. Secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle.
Ageing
The wine spends at least 24 months on the lees, followed by a further two months in the winery’s cellars after disgorgement.
