Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are planted using advanced viticultural practices. Yields are restricted to four or five bunches per vine.
Grapes
The blend contains equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in boxes to preserve the berries intact before careful processing. The rosé colour derives from pigments in the Pinot Nero skins.
Ageing
Fermentation and ageing together extend over 24 months. After bottling, the wine rests for at least a further two months.
