Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Alto Salento, between Sava and Manduria, at the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria production area. Strong sunshine and proximity to the Ionian Sea shape the growing environment. The vines are traditional bush-trained albarello plants more than 30 years old.
Grapes
100% Primitivo.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then macerated at a controlled temperature for 8–10 days with regular pump-overs. After draining, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 6–8 months in used American and French oak barriques.
Technical data
