Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on the Ogliano and Collalbrigo hills in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area. Contarini’s own vineyards cover 12 hectares. The Alps shelter them from cold northern winds, while breezes from the Adriatic Sea bring warmth. The local soils and climate support the development of freshness and clearly defined aromas and flavours.
Vinification
After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice is settled at low temperature, then fermented using the Charmat method under strict temperature control.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with an inviting aroma and a fresh, clearly defined palate.
