Vineyard and terroir
Rive di Campea comes from Campea, a contiguous 7-hectare estate vineyard in the Riva of the same name. Within the DOCG, the 43 Rive identify especially steep, well-exposed hillside sites regarded as individual crus. The vineyard rises from the valley to the hilltop and presents southern, eastern and western aspects, encouraging slow, gradual ripening.
The site has a particularly cool, ventilated microclimate and marked day-to-night temperature variation. Sandstone-rich soils on the summit contribute tension and mineral finesse, while the greater presence of clay-calcareous marl toward the valley supplies structure and persistence. The rows reach some of the denomination’s more pronounced elevations. Cultivation and hand harvesting follow the practices of heroic hillside viticulture. Vines are trained using the doppio capovolto system, and grapes are picked by hand into bins from late September into early October.

Tasting profile
Bright straw yellow. The elegant floral bouquet carries citrus notes, fragrant apple and peach, and a light mineral accent. Direct, vibrant and savory on the palate, it is dry yet balanced and elegant, extending gracefully into a dry finish. Its style combines freshness and complexity with the mineral tension, structure and persistence associated with the different sectors of the Campea vineyard.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 6–8 °C in a glass combining the narrower shape of a flute with the broader aromatic chamber of a tulip. It is intended for youthful drinking and shows best 12–24 months after bottling; its fruit-led aromas become riper and more vinous over time. Store in a dark, cool and dry place at 12–15 °C, upright during the first year and optionally horizontally thereafter.
