Origins
Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini is one of Tuscany's oldest family-owned wineries. Its history is closely tied to the Guicciardini family and the medieval Castello di Poppiano. Records show that the family has owned the estate since 1199, making it one of the few wineries in Europe with an unbroken history spanning more than eight hundred years.

Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini oversees quality at every stage, from its own vineyards to the finished bottle. The family preserves the traditional style of classic Tuscan DOCG wines while also developing modern IGT projects. Today, Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini wines are exported to dozens of countries.
