Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are cultivated around Vicenza on basaltic and volcanic soils. Casa Defrà traces its origins to the Cielo family farmhouse at the foot of the Colli Vicentini, where the family planted its first vineyard in 1908.
Grapes
Pinot Grigio, a naturally pink-skinned variety.
Technical data
Delle Venezie DOC. Alcohol: 12% vol. Cellar potential: 1–3 years. Presented in a 750 ml Bordeaux bottle weighing 380 g. EAN: 8008900005684.
Tasting profile
Copper-coloured rosé. Roses mingle with tangerine, wild strawberry, aromatic herbs and wisteria on the nose. The lively acidity animates the palate, leading into a long, persistent finish marked by fresh and dried fruit.

It can be enjoyed on its own or paired with marinara pizza, panzanella, supplì, salmon canapés, citrus-marinated trout tartare, tuna carpaccio with lemon zest and pomegranate sauce, Niçoise salad, red-shrimp nigiri, aubergine rolls with mozzarella, or pasta with red mullet and provolone fondue.
