Tasting profile
A fragrant, light Prosecco with refreshing aromas of crisp apple, lemon zest, mint and basil. The juicy palate is reminiscent of homemade lemonade, with gentle carbonation and a fruity, balsamic finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 6–8°C. Cellaring potential is 1–3 years. Pair with seafood, fresh cheeses and crisp vegetable appetisers, including Venetian cod cicchetti, roasted tofu with peanuts, dim sum, chickpea tacos with avocado and coriander, falafel, white asparagus with cacio e pepe sauce, Parmesan-gratinated mussels and croaker tartare with mozzarella and ginger cream.
Label / history
Casa Defrà denotes the Casa dei Fratelli Cielo, the original family farmhouse at the foot of the Colli Vicentini. The family settled there in 1908 and planted its first vineyard, beginning a four-generation enterprise.
