The estate’s 12 hectares of vineyards lie in Signa, a western suburb of Florence several dozen kilometres from the city centre, at around 80 metres above sea level. The area has a warm microclimate. The soils are limestone with thin layers of chalk, and the vines average 10 years of age.

Serving and pairing
Pairs with meat dishes.
Label / history
Enrico Fossi inherited a large plot of land in Signa from his family and turned to winemaking after visiting leading wine estates around the world. He names his wines and designs an individual label for each, using sayings, quotations and aphorisms connected to the wine’s story and character. Annual winery production ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 bottles, depending on the weather and the harvest from each vineyard.
