The vineyards have east/southwest exposure.
Grapes
The 2023 wine is composed of 60% Vermentino and 40% Sauvignon.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand with careful bunch selection, then gently pressed. The must settles naturally at low temperature before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled 13–15°C. The wine remains on its fine lees in tank.
Ageing
Maturation begins in stainless steel and continues in bottle.
Technical data
Bolgheri Bianco DOC. The published vintage is 2023, with 13.5% alcohol. Contains sulfites. Ageing capacity is estimated at 5–7 years.
Tasting profile
An intense straw-yellow wine with a broad aromatic spectrum: fresh pear and apple are joined by Mediterranean scrub notes of sage, pine and bay. The palate is harmonious and notably fresh, with a mineral dimension and persistent aromatic character. The shorter cellar description also emphasizes citrus, fresh fruit, sapidity and a clean, lingering finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10°C with fish dishes, white meats or cheeses.
