Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a historic 0.83 ha vineyard in the municipality of La Morra. The Rinaldi family purchased the site in 1969, and its vines were planted between 1970 and 1983. The highest part reaches approximately 280 m. Sandstone and calcareous conglomerates provide effective water drainage; the word “rocche” refers to these rocky formations. This portion of the cru contains more sand than its upper section.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo for Barolo.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats fitted with automatic pump-over systems and lasts 25–30 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for at least three years in large 5,000 L Slavonian oak barrels.

The vineyard covers 0.83 ha. The wine is available in 750 mL bottles.
Tasting profile
Ethereal, finely drawn aromas combine rose and violet with suggestions of sweet spices. The palate is warm, harmonious and persistent, with good minerality and notably elegant tannins.

Serve at 16–17 °C.

The vineyard was acquired by the Rinaldi family in 1969. Its name, “rocche,” derives from the rocky sandstone and calcareous conglomerates found in its soils.
