Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Alto Adige, where the climate is mild and Alpine-continental, with more than 300 sunny days annually. The Alps shelter the vineyards from cold northerly winds, while the south-facing opening allows Mediterranean air currents from Lake Garda and the Mediterranean Sea to enter the area. During the growing season, temperatures average 18 °C. Marked differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures, together with sufficient rainfall, allow the aromatic grapes to ripen slowly and fully.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and carefully sorted. Traditional methods are used, with vinification in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Intense and aromatic, with bright fruit and gentle spice. The palate is elegant and well balanced.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with spicy main courses, fruit-based desserts and fresh cheeses.
