Vineyard and terroir

Gewürztraminer takes its name from the Alto Adige wine village of Tramin in Bassa Atesina. AIMÉ comes from the eastern side of Bassa Atesina, where the vineyards stand at 280–350 metres. Light, warm soils and sunny, gently inclined slopes provide favourable conditions for the variety. The grapes have a slightly reddish skin.

Grapes

100% Gewürztraminer.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand into small containers to protect them from excessive pressure. Whole clusters are pressed gently, and the must is clarified through natural sedimentation. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation is avoided.

Ageing

The wine matures for six months on its fine lees in stainless steel.

Technical data

Vintage 2025. Alto Adige DOC. Yield: 56 hl/ha. Alcohol: 14.5% vol. Total acidity: 5.58 g/L. Residual sugar: 5.5 g/L. Ageing potential: 5 years.

Tasting profile

An intensely aromatic bouquet accompanies a soft, full-bodied character. Rose petal, lychee and exotic-fruit notes define its aromatic profile.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 10–12 °C. Its aromatic intensity and generous texture suit shellfish, flavourful cheeses, spicy dishes, and Asian-inspired sweet-and-sour preparations.
