Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from well-aired hillside vineyards in Oltradige, situated between 400 and 500 metres above sea level. The mineral-rich sites derive from Ice Age sedimentation and feature volcanic porphyry soils.
Grapes
Pinot Grigio. The variety bears small bunches of rust-coloured to almost brown grapes. Pinot Grigio and Pinot Bianco may occur on the same vine and belong to the Burgundy Pinot family.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and transferred in small containers to prevent excessive pressure. Gentle pressing is followed by clarification of the must through natural sedimentation. Alcoholic fermentation proceeds at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine subsequently ages on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.
