Vineyard and terroir
The estate’s white-grape vineyards, including its Weissburgunder plantings, surround the winery and cellars on Rungg hill at 500 m above sea level. Niedrist replaced the traditional Pergola training system with the more labour-intensive Guyot system to reduce yields and improve grape quality.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation or contact with wood.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Clean and distinctly mineral.
