Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at elevations of 300–400 metres and face from south to south-east. The medium-calcareous soil is rich in minerals, with balanced proportions of silt, clay and sand.
Grapes
100% Barbera.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and completely destemmed before gentle pressing. Fermentation proceeds at a controlled temperature, followed by 8–10 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation takes place in wooden barrels.
