The grapes grow on fertile soils in Italy.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested between 10 September and 10 October to prevent damage to the berries. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled 17–19 °C. Before filtration, the wine is cold-stabilized at −4 °C.
