Vineyard and terroir
The Glera is grown almost entirely in the family's vineyards within the Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. and is harvested by hand from mid-September to mid-October.
Grapes
100% Glera.
Vinification
The grapes undergo soft pressing, followed by fermentation of the must at controlled temperature. After clarification, secondary fermentation takes place by the Charmat method in temperature-controlled steel pressure tanks. Bottle pressure is 4.5 atm.
Technical data
Alcohol: 11% vol. Residual sugar: 14 g/L. Available in 0.75 L, 1.5 L and 3.0 L bottles.
Tasting profile
Brilliant straw yellow, enlivened by the perlage. Pear and apple aromas flow into floral tones and a citrus accent, creating a fresh and expressive bouquet. The palate is smooth, enveloping and velvety yet remains dry through its pronounced acidity and lively mousse.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10°C. Suitable as an aperitif and with vegetable soups, seafood or pasta dressed with delicate vegetable sauces.
