Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Santo Stefano del Sole, at 550 m above sea level, described as the highest vineyard in Irpinia. The vines have a south-west exposure and grow in sandy, mineral-rich soils. They are 20 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late October. Traditional white-wine vinification takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C for 20 days.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for 3–4 months.
Label / history
Mastroberardino has produced the wine since 1984.
