Matteo Braidot

The company now known as Matteo Braidot was founded by Giuseppe Braido in 1870. Since then the Braido family has remained dedicated to farming, grape growing and winemaking. The winery has recently been modernized, and new technology is used to maintain the quality of its wines.

The 100 hectares of land lie on the hills of Collio and on the plains of Isonzo-Grave del Friuli. The wines show the aromas and flavors typical of the Friuli region.

The winemakers select the grapes carefully. Matteo Braido and Mauro Brissan personally oversee growing and harvesting the grapes. Besides vineyards, the estate has arable land, woodland and garden crops.
