Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on east- and southeast-facing slopes, which give the vines plenty of morning and daytime sunlight. The soils are mainly limestone with some clay, and bring clarity, freshness and a light mineral note to the wine.
Grapes
Cortese is a native Piedmont variety with fine acidity and delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit. It stays fresh even in hot years and reflects the mineral character of the soil where it grows.
Vinification
The 2025 grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. The berries were carefully sorted and gently pressed to preserve fruit and floral notes without damaging the variety's delicate aromas. Fermentation took place in neutral, temperature-controlled tanks.
Ageing
At least three months in stainless steel vats, which helps retain the bright acidity and the aromas of fresh fruit and flowers.
Tasting profile
Light, crisp and graceful, with floral and fruity notes and a gentle mineral character. Bright acidity. Cortese wines in general are elegant, clean and food-friendly, not overwhelming the palate but complementing the food.
Serving and pairing
Suited to a summer aperitif or a light lunch.
