Vineyard and terroir
The fruit grows on the south-facing Montemareto hill, on very steep slopes that reach a gradient of 40° in places. The soils are white tuff, rich in sand and trace elements. Planted in 1995 specifically for Plenilunio Chardonnay, the vineyard has a density of 6,000 vines/ha.
Grapes
The vineyard is planted with 85% Chardonnay and 15% Sauvignon.
