Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the winery’s youngest plots in Langhe, the largest wine-producing area around Alba.
Grapes
The wine uses a selection of Nebbiolo grapes.
Vinification
Fermentation follows the traditional Piedmontese method, with at least 15 days of skin maceration. Around 30% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barriques, while the remaining 70% matures separately in stainless-steel tanks. The two portions are blended before bottling.
Ageing
The portion placed in barriques remains there for about six months. The wine is approachable and expressive from its first year.
